rightly dividing the word of truth.

As we approach the season of Advent, we are inspired to talk more about the birth of our Lord and Savior. Challenge each other this season, starting this week, to give from within sharing pieces of you, as opposed to giving expensive gifts this season.
When something of value is restored, people may have both joyful and sad feelings at remembering what has been lost.
We may blame anything or anyone except ourselves for our shortcomings. We may even find it diddicult to admit our faults. Yet, we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
Think about the people around you who do not know Jesus.
Make a plan of action that will give you the opportunity to share your testimony with th, em.
Lift Jesus up to them in your daily life.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
As people of faith, we can connect with God through prayer and fasting.
Prayer and fasting can help prepare us for a journey or activity.
God of love, help us live lives of love daily, knowing that you are the very essence of love.
Share Christ with others, wherever they are. It is important to be gracious and courteous in your witness.
Attitude is very important, and demonstrating the attitude of Christ helps believers share Christ with others. We must humble ourselves as Christ
did and embrace the idea of obedience. Selflessness and sacrifice open the door to God's exaltation.
As Christ calls us to love one another as we love ourselves, consider what this means,
when we hold prejudices against people across the globe whom we have not seen
or met, no matter what the cultures or races may be.
In times of trouble, people may tend to focus on their problems. Where can we look to find inspiration to focus on God in times of trouble? John depicted a large group of excited worshippers who had come through a difficult ordeal.
Praise - Praise then, to define it , is our reaction to what God has done or to who God is.
Praise carries with it the idea of recounting a specific deed as being worthy of praise.
The Son of Man has come to seek and to save which was lost.
Confidence is an essential ingredient in the Christian life. We belong to Christ,
we are given the confidence of our salvation, knowing that we are his and he is ours.
Worship, rather is our reaction to a revelation of who God is or what He has done.
If you want to be an effective witness for Christ you must have a personal relationship with Him.
You must be born again... No Christian can witness about Christ without the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told the disciples to wait on the
Comforter. The disciplies received the Holy Spirit and were empowered to boldly witness for Jesus regardless of the situations in which they were placed.
The mission of any church is to go into the world and win souls for Christ.
The act of snatching others by force from serious peril. In its most basic sense, salvation is the saving of a life from harm. Scripture, particularly the New Testament extends salvation to include deliverance from the penalty and power of sin.
Two of the most important names in the Old Testament are Jehovah and Elohim. The first name is translated "Lord" and the second is translated "God".
Some have made the distinction that Jehovah means God special revelation to His people of Israel, while Elohim means God in His relationship to the world at large, as Creator and Ruler.
Jesus is the Word who brings life and light to those who will receive Him. As Christians, we have an obligation to live differently. This does not mean that we
separate ourselves from nonbelievers, but that we are dilligent to discern wrong and stay on course to follow Christ's teaching. We cannot excuse or condone bad
behavior, and we cannot condone lifestyles that are lived contrary to God's Word.
The Greek word for "transfigured" is
metamorphothe, from which we get our English word "metamorphosis". The most popular illustration of this concept is the transformation of the caterpillar from a worm to a butterfly.
This word refers to an outward change that comes from within.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
As you go through life, you will discover that there is a connection between actions and consequences.
We need to take to celebrate the completion of significant taks. We enjoy music and include music in our celebrations. We also understand the importance of acknowledging people by name for their contributions.
Christians need to have the faith and courage to resist the temptation to put ultimate trust
in human leaders and insitutions for salvation and security.
Our ultimate trust needs to be in God.
Every praise is to our God
Every word of worship with one accord
Every praise every praise is to our God
Sing hallelujah to our God
Glory hallelujah is due our God
Every praise - every praise is to our God.
